Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films she was deemed as the top female performer at the box office in history. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
