Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by American citizens of all races. The confidence started to build in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition. She was praised by the judges for her vocal ability. This not only increased the confidence of her, but also changed the direction she pursued in her career. The 22-year-old earned a degree from the Julliard School in New York. She began her career when she was 23 years old, appearing in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. The biggest accomplishment of her career occurred with her portrayal of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's original Broadway production. Not only did she get the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by reviewers. Following that she was made the lead character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. Alongside having a cult following as a singer, she also released her own solo album and an extended piece. Also, she's been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
