Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American writer of cookbooks, who has won Emmy Awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget papers. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating after which she resigned and bought a small grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her store a huge success, she closed it down and began creating her first novel. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. Between them the Food Network show was also an enormous success. Additionally, she offers everything from kitchen equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina was never a part of any cooking schools or was employed at a restaurant. Ina she is entirely self-taught. Her name is ascribed to her straightforward approach to making food and her unpretentious approach to entertainment. She is known for her straightforward recipes such as Skillet Grilled Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
