Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress born in St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known role is as Jenny Humphrey, the star of the CW's Gossip Girl. Momsen has had her music played in a variety of films and television programs including How to Be single Going to the Limit as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. She is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first professional performance came at the age of three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen suffered a career break that lasted for three years until she was cast as the lead in Misconceptions the WB television series. Additionally, during this time Momsen made an appearance in the 2006 film Saving Shiloh. Momsen auditioned as well for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, her role was instead awarded by Miley Cyrus.
